Lynne has been looking after pets for her customers for over forty years and accepts all breeds of dogs, as well as a variety of other domestic pets. A very special guest in the past was Hansie, a goat, who brought his friends along with him – two German Shepherds named Mersey and Panache. Another very special guest was Nixon, Kay’s Labrador Guide Dog. Later there was another very special guest named Thanda – Sylvia’s 14 year old Rottweiler – who made herself very much at home when she was with us. And then there’s Charlie, Candy and many others who have become special guests of ours.
Located between Waterfall and Hillcrest, which is near Pinetown, Kwa Zulu Natal, in South Africa, the kennels are not the most luxurious available, but they are spacious, and include an outdoor view. Owners are encouraged to bring their pet’s own mat, blanket or bed, so that their pet will feel less stressed, having something familiar in the new environment. Included in the reasonable rates is Lynne’s personal care and loving attention. She is resident on the property and does not take the responsibility lightly.
The number of kennels was reduced during 2014 so that, with advancing age, Lynne can still manage to give her personal attention to all her ‘guests’. Sadly, our gorgeous big Flatcrown tree has gone to rest but we have one of its progeny growing big and strong. With the passage of time, our baby Flatcrown tree has grown up well and is doing a good job of providing lots of lovely shade as did its predecessor.
Bitches in season are especially welcome. Rather than end up with unplanned or unwanted puppies, bitches should be kept in a secure kennel for their season. If you would like any further information or would like to view the kennels, please feel welcome to call and make an appointment with Lynne.
